The making of a story seller 

An Emmy-award winning producer and marketer, Cherylynne Crowther has led creative teams working at KING 5 (NBC), MSNBC.com and Edelman.

She's launched multiple marketing campaigns including the highly successful "Get Jesse" consumer advocate franchise, the "Yellow Jackets" branding program, and the innovative microsite "Hot Snow" promoting the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.  

With StorySeller Media, a step-by-step guide to train others how to Surface, Scan and Spark story ideas, she has developed a realiable and repeatable process that high performance marketing teams can use to generate quality content and helps businesses find the language to example their value to consumers.  


Cherylynne was most recently V.P./Executive Producer of the Creative Newsroom at Edelman Public Relations. Previous roles include Vice President of Marketing and Communications at MSNBC.com, and the Director  of Integrated Creative Services at KING 5 TV, the NBC affiliate in Seattle.  

Cherylynne is the Communications and Marketing Team Lead for TEDxSeattle, the largest independently organized TED event in Washington. Her responsiblities include the organizations website, social channels, media relations, communications partnerships, design, print and ticketing strategy.
